The low-profile, single-density ones are preferable for shorter rides, indoor riding, and multi-sport events like triathlons. Our double and triple-density chamois are better for longer rides. But, ultimately, it's a personal choice, so go with what works best for you.

It depends! Every rider (and ride) is different. Many riders love both. But here's our breakdown of key differences to help you make your choice.

Bib shorts are designed with shoulder straps instead of a waistband, eliminating pressure around the midsection. This makes them a popular choice for long-distance cycling, racing, or even throughout pregnancy as they provide a smooth, supportive fit and reduce discomfort in a bent-over riding position.

Waistline cycling shorts, on the other hand, offer a relaxed fit as they’re easier to put on and take off, making them ideal for quick stops, commuting, or casual rides. A lot of riders love these for indoor cycling, casual rides, and even bikepacking.
No! Seriously, ditch the underwear when cycling. Your intimates will thank you. Chamois (aka padding) is designed to sit right against your skin so as to reduce chaffing. Also, adding an extra layer of fabric reduces the breathability of the chamois and its ability to absorb moisture.
We use chamois that are female-specific, which means they're designed for our anatomy, bacteriostatic, and made to balance with our natural pH.
Honestly, any padded short you feel comfortable in! All of our cycling shorts have been tested on multi-day rides. That said, riders tend to choose either our Adventure Shorts for waistline option that is easy to pull down on the go. Or our Adventure Bibs, which feature lots of pockets for the miles ahead.
