Being a woman is wild.

Let's keep it real. We've got you with these cycling care tips for down there.

1. No underwear

Seriously, ditch the underwear when cycling. Your intimates will thank you. Chamois (aka padding) is designed to sit right against your skin so as to reduce chaffing. Also, adding an extra layer of fabric reduces the breathability of the chamois and its ability to absorb moisture. That's a no-go.

We use chamois that are female-specific, which means they're designed for our anatomy, bacteriostatic, and made to balance with our natural pH.

2. Try chamois cream

If you're struggling with chaffing down there, try chamois cream. Made thicker than sweat (and no, it's not greasy!) it helps prevent saddle sores by reducing friction.

You can apply it anywhere down there that you feel gets sore while riding. Simply apply a generous amount either directly to your skin, or the chamois pad.

3. Your chamois is a pad

If you're on your period, just remember: your chamois is a pad and is actually way more absorbent than any period underwear.

So if you're comfortable with it, you can try 'free bleeding'. Our chamois has been tested on with a heavy flow + light-coloured bib shorts - and passed the test!

4. PFAS Free

Lastly, rest assured that all our chamois are free of nasty PFAS (aka "forever chemicals") and are BLUESIGN® and OEKO-TEX® certified.

Some things need to stay clean while you get sweaty.
