Store Manager & Community Lead

Join our team! Samsara is looking for a passionate, highly organized and self-driven Store Manager & Community Lead to help execute in-person brand events and manage our Vancouver store front.

This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who’s excited to roll up their sleeves, connect with people, and help grow one of Vancouver’s up-and-coming brands. You’ll be at the heart of our retail and community presence—managing day-to-day store operations while leading engaging brand activations that build real relationships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Retail Lead: Assume responsibility for our store, including management of staff and inventory. Ensure that customers are met with a welcoming and supportive experience. Maintain an organized and efficient working space.
  • Online Customer Service: Lead our customer service experience and team, including: online chat, email queries, and instagram DM’s
  • Product Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of our product from fit, fabric and function to colour, style and size that allows you to make the best recommendations to guests. 
  • Visual Merchandising: You ensure inventory and visual merchandising standards are maintained for a premium and organized store experience.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee all inventory logistics. Including organizing existing inventory across our store and storage facility. 
  • Operations: You execute daily in-store operational tasks, including processing sales, fulfilling online orders, keeping the spaces tidy, etc. 
  • Events: You lead IRL brand events within the store and throughout the city and surrounding areas. Making sure promotions are aligned with our marketing calendar. 
  • Brand & Community Partnerships: You help identify and organize key collaborations with other brands and community.
  • Creative Content: You are keen to be a part of our brand story and create content.
  • Graphic Design: Your are confident in basic graphic design projects like creating stories/posts for social media and posters for events.
  • Continuous Learning: You give and receive feedback and share openly as an opportunity to grow.

Key Skills & Experience 

  • Previous retail and guest services experience is a must
  • A self-starter who is eager, agile and resourceful
  • Comfortable managing the store, events, and staff
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours/days and weekends 
  • Naturally connects with people in a relatable way
  • Passionate about building a brand
  • Creates a fun and welcoming environment
  • Basic proficiency in Canva and graphic design

Start Date: January 5th
Salaried Pay: $60,000-$70,000
